HOW TO LIVE LONGER AND HAPPIER 

God wants us to live happily and to enjoy his presence in our midst. “When Adam came from the Creator’s hand, he bore, in his physical, mental, and spiritual nature, a likeness to His Maker... it was His purpose that the longer man lived, the more fully he should reveal this image- the more fully reflect the glory of the Creator...” Education, p. 15

SOME BASIC STEPS TO LIVE LONGER,HEALTHIER AND HAPPIER 

 (OUR PART TO DO)

1. SPIRITUALLY

 Our God can only impart (teach) us the true

 happiness and longevity (long life). Psalmist says

 in 91 chapters “if we know Him, set our love on

 Him, make God our refuge and fortress...,”He

 promise in verse 16th,” With long life will I satisfy

 him, and shew him my salvation”. We find in

 6th commandment, “Honour thy father and thy

 mother: that your days may be long upon the land

 which the Lord thy God giveth thee.”

“Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD

 your God hath commanded you, that ye may

 live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. Deu 5:33

STEP:1.  INVITE GOD IN YOUR LIFE: “Behold I stand at the door, and knock, if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20

STEP:2.  MEDITATE: “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord my strength and my redeemer.” Psalm 19:14

STEP: 3. TAKE ALL YOUR PROBLEMS TO GOD: Matthew 11:28-30

STEP:4.  OVER COME TEMPTATIONS: “.....Jesus was tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Heb 4:15. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthian 10:13

STEP: 5, SEEK FORGIVENESS AND CONFESS OUR SINS TO GOD: 1 John 1:9.”If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteous.”

STEP: 6. WRITE DOWN YOUR BLESSING AND BE GREATFUL: lest down the blessing you receive every day, and your love will grow for God. Show your gratefulness by giving Him His portion.

STEP: 7. GO TO CHURCH EVERY SABBATH: “Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God.” Exo 20:9-10

STEPS: 8. KEEP GOD’S TEN COMMANDMANTS: It if found in Exodus 20:3-17.

STEP: 9. BE THANKFUL AND SING UNTO HIM FOR EVERY THING YOU HAVE: “sing unto the Lord with thanks giving: sing praise upon the harp unto our God.” PSALMS 147:7. “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thes 5:18

STEP: 10.. HAVE A PRAYFUL LIFE. “Pray without ceasing.” 1 thes 5:17

2. MENATLLY

STEP: 1. AVOID PRIDE: “Pride goeth before

 destruction and a haughty spirit before a

 fall.”Proverbs 16:18 enthusiastic

STEP:2. DO NOT WORRY: God knew before; that

 we will be worry what the things we need. “Take

 no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what

 ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what shall ye

 put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body

 than raiment?” Matthew 6:25

STEP: 3. REDUCE STRESS:

STEP: 4. LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE/ BEING OPTISMISTIC: “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

STEP: 5. CULTIVATE A SENSE OF PURPOSE:

STEP: 6. WATCH OUT FOR PROBLEMS:”Be sober, be vigilant: because your adversary (enemy) the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whim he may devour (consume).” 1 peter 5:8.

STEP: 7. LEARN SOMETHING FROM PAST: “And we know that all things work together for food to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”Romans 8:28. No matter what made your passed, God knows what is best for you.

STEP:8.  DEVELOP A DAILY SCHEDULE: Our Universe is on its way, because God kept them the schedule which never hinders their function. We need to learn great lessons from this. Keeping up our proper schedule will benefits us longer.

STEP: .9. AVOID DISGUST:

STEP: 10. LAUGH AND SMILE EVERY DAY: “A merry heart is doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” Proverb 17:12. When we are happy, our hearts are lighten in which we laugh and smile out.

STEP: 11.DONT BE DISCOURAGED: “Fear thou not: for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

STEP: 12. LEARN TO PLAY ANY MUSIC YOU LOVE TO:

STEP:13.  RECONIGE YOUR VALUE OF EXISTING: Jeremiah 1:5, Matthew 6:26

STEP:14.  BE CONTENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE: Philippians 4:11

STEP:15.  DONT TAKE WORK AT HOME FROM OFFICE:

STEP:16.  LEARN TO RELAX AND FIND TIME TO REST DAILY: Genesis 2:2-3, Exodus 33:14

STEPS: 17. FOLLOW THINGS TO BE AVOIDED: Which was discuss previously,

STEPS: 18. VICTORY OVER ANGER AND

 LIFE-DESTROYING CONFLICT:” Be not

 overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

 Romans 12:21

3. SOCIALLY

STEP:1.  LOVE YOUR ENEMY: “Love your

 enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to

 them that hate you, and pray for them which

 despitefully use you, and persecute you.” 

Matthew 5:44

STEP:2.  BE HELPFUL AND CHEERFUL GIVER: “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” Proverbs 19:17. ”I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35.”.... God loveth a cheerful give. 2 Corinthians 9:7

STEP: 3. HAVE GOOD RELATIONSHIP IN A FAMILY: “This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.” John 15:12

STEP: 4. MAKE YOUR MARRIAGE WORKWhat therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” Mark 10;9

 STEP:5.  HAVE CHILDREN:  “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Gen 1;28

STEPS:6. DONT MOCK AND GOSSIP OTHERS:

  4. PHYSICALLY

STEP: 1. LOVE YOURSELF: Our body is the gift

 of God; we should be a faithful steward 


STEP: 2. KEEP YOUR SELF BUSY: “Idle man is

 the workshop for devil.”


STEP:3.  TRY TO LIVE IN THE COUNTRY 

SIDE:

STEP: 5. EAT HEALTHY FOODS:”... Jesus was tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Heb 4:15

STEP: 6. DONT OVER EAT: Proverbs 23:20-21. Physical appetites are an analogy (correlated) of our ability to control ourselves. If we are unable to control our eating habits, we are probably also unable to control other habits, such as those of the mind (lust, covetousness, angry) and unable to keep our mouths from gossip or strife. We are not to let out appetites control us, but we are to have control our appetite. God calls us to control our appetites rather than allowing them to control us.

STEP: 7. WATCH YOUR WEIGHT AND WAIST: You are inviting more physical sicknesses when your weight and waist increases.

STEP: 8. CLEANLINESS: There is a saying cleanliness is next to God.

STEP: 9. AVOID SICKNESS: Following 8 health laws will keep away your sickness and make you stay healthily.

STEP: 10. AVOID FLESH MEAT FOR FOOD: “...He permitted that long- lived race to eat animal food to shorten their sinful lives...” Counsels on Diet and Foods, p.373.

STEP: 4. FOLLOW HEALTH LAW: Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunshine, Temperance, Air, Rest, Trust in God. (for more details go through 8 Health Laws)


 Tips:

 1. EXERCISE: Rapid walking for 30 minutes at a time for 3 to 4 times a week can provide ten years of rejuvenation.

After just 6 weeks, their blood pressure dropped, body fat decrease, oxygen transport increased and neuromuscular signs of nervous tension diminished.

Exercise improve muscle tone and blood vessels changing them from weak and flabby tissue to strong and firm tissue.
