What is arthritis?

Arthritis is a disease that affects your joints (areas where your bones meet and move). Arthritis usually involves inflammation or degeneration (breakdown) of your joints. These changes can cause pain when you use the joint.

Bones joins in Hand, Wrists, Knee, Elbow, Hips, Ankle, Spine, Big Toes, Cervical and Shoulder can be affected. Arthritis is accompanied by Pain, redness, heat, swollen.

What are the different types of arthritis?

  • Osteoarthritisor “wear and tear” arthritis, which develops when joint cartilage breaks down from repeated stress. It’s the most common form of arthritis.
  • Ankylosing spondylitisor arthritis of the spine (usually your lower back).
  • Juvenile arthritis (JA), a disorder where the immune system attacks the tissue around joints. JA typically affects children 16 or younger.
  • Gouta disease that causes hard crystals of uric acid to form in your joints.
  • Psoriatic arthritisjoint inflammation that develops in people with psoriasis (autoimmune disorder that causes skin irritation).
  • Rheumatoid arthritisa disease that causes the immune system to attack synovial membranes in your joints

How do I know if I have osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis?
The main difference between osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis is the cause behind the joint symptoms. Osteoarthritis is caused by mechanical wear and tear on joints, wearing away of the cartilage that caps the bones in your joints. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease in which the body's own immune system attacks the body's joints. OA is more common than RA. Both involve inflammation in the joints, but RA causes much more inflammation.

Rheumatoid arthritis can be one of the most painful types of arthritis; it affects joints as well as other surrounding tissues, including organs. This inflammatory, autoimmune disease attacks healthy cells by mistake, causing painful swelling in the joints, like hands, wrists and knees.
The most commonly affected areas during the onset of RA are the small joints in your hands and feetIt is often worse in the mornings and damp weather and strenuous activity (can last from thirty minutes to two hours) and after a period of inactivity.
CAUSES
Excess uric acid, lack of calcium, gastric problems, hereditary, wrong life style etc.

COMMON SYMPTOMS:

  • Tenderness.
  • Warmth.
  • Decreased range of motion
  • Unexplained weight loss, fever or weakness combine with joint pain

For this remedy take Onion, Cabbage, Garlic and Clove, mixed them and grinds and put the mixture on the pain part and cover for 20 minutes, then gradually you will relieved from Arthritis.

Guava Leaves: Crush seven leaves of guava leaves with a little water to make a paste apply it on the affected area thrice a day

Ginger with hot water: Infusion is the ultimate slimming drink and has a recognized detoxifying effect. This drink is excellent, boosts the metabolism and strengthens the immune system, all without excess calories. They relieves rheumatism, arthritis and osteoarthritis,

A simple preparation 

• Cut a piece of ginger mash until a paste is formed.

• Pour 1 liter of hot water over it.

• Leave to infuse for about 10 minutes.

• Drink a glass of this still hot infusion on an empty stomach.

• Drink the rest of the drink in batches throughout the day.

Ginger powder: Take 1/3 teaspoon of ginger powder a day or 1 slice of fresh ginger a day. After 6 weeks of this treatment your pain will be less strong, your mobility better and your joints more flexible.

Celery: Celery seeds contain anti-inflammatory agents. Pour the seeds into boiling water until they become soft. Drain then immediately drink a cup of the brew with lemon juice. The treatment can be repeated every day until the joint pain disappears.

Nettle leaves: Anti-inflammatory, nettle relieves joint pain. In addition to anti-inflammatory compounds, the leaves contain calcium, silica, and zinc which promote bone remineralization.
Antioxidant, nettle also helps regenerate tissues. An ideal cocktail against arthritis and rheumatism. It also causes the elimination of urea and uric acid.
Drink:
6 carrots
3 stalks of celery
1 cup of pineapple
½ lemon
Make the juice of the whole and drink.
Fresh pineapple contains bromelain (enzyme) which acts as a natural anti-inflammatory substance for swollen and painful joints.
Wild yam: wild yam has anti inflammatory properties and used to treat Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Veldt Grape: A study on 9 people taken 500 mg of Cissus 3 times per day for 6 weeks help speed up the healing of fracture joint bones and reduced pain and swelling. It also relieved symptoms of Arthritis.
Noni: Reduces chronic pain and arthritis symptoms, by taking 30 ml every morning 30 minutes before breakfast (single dose per day)
