 FUNGAL INFECTION

Living in a similar manner to bacteria, we all have and mostly grows in moist area on the body. Many fungal infections develop in the upper layers of the skin, and some progress to the deeper layers. Inhaled yeast or mold spores can sometimes lead to fungal infections, such as pneumonia,

They grow under the nails (onychomycosis), feet and between the toes (Athlete's foot), skin, mucus membrane of mouth, throat, colon, vagina (Candidiasis), skin/scalp (ringworm)

Those with a higher risk of developing a fungal infection include people who:

* use antibiotics for a long time

* have a weakened immune system, due, for example, to living with HIV or diabetes or receiving chemotherapy treatment

* have undergone a transplant, as they take medications to prevent their body from rejecting the new organ

Ingrown toenail:  caused by either improper trimming of the nail or because of tight fitting shoes, genetics, but in other cases, they result from the development of a fungus beneath the nail.


A rash can indicate a fungal infection of the skin. However, viruses and bacteria may also cause skin conditions and rashes.

ANTIFUNGAL PROPERTIES:

 Turmeric, Garlic, Senna alata, , ginger, lemon grass, eucalyptus, and peppermint,  Neem leaves, oregano, calendula, grapefruit seeds, aloe Vera, tea tree oil, coconut oil, Indian nigh shade, holy basil, sweet flag (Acorus calamus), betel leaf, vasa plant, geranium


Ringworm: Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin that is quite common and contagious. It is caused by fungi that live on the top layer of the skin, feed on the keratin in the skin, and thrive in warm, humid areas. The infection causes a circle, with a dark border shaped like a ring.

1. Garlic :

Garlic has excellent antifungal properties that help cure ringworm.

Crush two cloves of garlic/ (Garlic Pulp mash with Mustard oil)

Rub them on the ringworm rash several times a day, until condition improves.

2. The Neem :
Apply neem oil to the affected area once a day for a few days until the infection is gone.
Mix in parts the crushed neem leaves, turmeric powder and sesame oil. Apply this paste on the affected area.

3. Apple cider vinegar:

Dip a cotton swab in apple cider vinegar and apply it to the affected area.
Two or three times a day for a few days or until you see improvement.

4. Tea tree oil : Tea tree oil is another widely used natural remedy for ringworm due to its antifungal and antiseptic qualities.
Put a few drops of tea tree oil on a cotton ball and dab on the affected area, two or three times a day for a week or two.

5. Raw papaya : Raw papaya also helps kill the fungi that cause ringworm due to its antifungal properties.
Rub a slice of raw papaya on the affected area. Leave it on for at least 15 minutes, then wash it off with lukewarm water. Do this at least twice a day for a few days.
You can also apply fresh juice from papaya leaves or a paste made from dried papaya seeds.

6. Turmeric :
Extract the juice from the grated turmeric root. Apply the juice to the ringworm rash three times a day until the area is clear of infection.

7. Lemongrass :
Lemongrass helps treat ringworm due to its potent antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. It also relieves itching. When you take it in, it also helps flush toxins from your body.
Drink lemongrass tea or a combination of lemongrass and chamomile tea three times a day.
You can also apply lemongrass tea bags used, lemongrass essential oil, or a paste of lemongrass leaves.

8. Senna alata (ringworm bush): 
By applying the leaf paste, the leaves of this bush can be ground into fine paste and applied locally with any vegetable oil twice or thrice a day according to the severity of the ringworm infection.
9. Mix Garlic with any of the following plants Pink Oxalis / bitter bush
