Detoxification involves resting, cleansing and nourishing the body from within. It protects your body from disease and promotes optimal health.
Toxins are harmful substances sources that we are exposed to regularly. Even though we eat healthily and drink the purest water, we cannot escape exposure to toxins. Air pollution, water pollution and soil pollution can still lead to a high level of toxicity in our body.
As a result of this accumulation of toxins, the body’s balance deteriorates; the accumulation of bad choices we make in our daily lives cause illnesses which we refer to as lifestyle diseases such as chronic fatigue syndrome, weakness, reluctance, low energy, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, obesity, depression, skin problems, and so on.
Detox is natural removal of toxins from the body. On a day-to-day basis the liver, kidneys, intestines, lymphatic systems are doing this work continuously for us. Then, why do we need to detox. They are exhausted because our input is greater than out put what they can do at regular basis.
Detoxification should be a lifestyle change where focus is more on eating clean food. It results in cleansing of the body, nourishing and recharging it. One should first focus on reducing the toxin load to the body then eating such foods, which can provide healthy nutrients that will help in refueling the body.

Food: Flesh/Veg foods we eat are grown with antibiotics and hormones; they are genetically altered, inorganic crops, modernize foods are filled with additives, coloring, artificial favor, preservatives, added MSG (taste enhancer) trans fat, saturated oil, in the packaging, canned food & juice,. Eating as we do, causes our cells to constantly crave more as they struggle to get the nutrients they need.

In the aspect of physiology, the body is constantly producing wastes. It tries to throw them off through the organs of elimination like bowels, kidney, lungs, the skin and spitting.
If too much waste is produce (because of overeating, wrong habits & eating, over work, and lack of rest, exercise and fresh air) then the body becomes overburdened, and sickness occurs
During natural healing, the system goes into high gear in its efforts to eliminates these poisons. It must be aided in its efforts.

Note: While fasting we need extra warmth. The extremities gets cold during fasting periods. No meat and its products, junk food, processed food, white flour, fried, greasy, coffee, tobacco, alcohol, refine products, drugs, etc. Those with malignancy /skin problems cannot handle eggs (sulphur contain protein)
Fasting provides physiological rest for the organism. It provides the body with its chance for throwing off the retained impurities plaguing the body cells, the system begins to oxidize (to burn up) material from the body tissues which are used for basic life functioning (basal metabolism). while the healing continues.
Organs and body system are able to regain as much as is possible, to their former strength. No chemical, cutting resources can do it. The body will try to do it if permitted. work with the body not against it.
Once to twice a year fasting for 3- 10 days should be done for those who reached the age of 35 or 40, because their body is filled with morbid wastes. Doing that each year is a powerful tool to help the body cleanse itself for accumulated waste and can prevent many diseases.
Light Exercise: For bed ridden people, little movement / massages is required from time to time to help his lymphatic elimination. The lymph only moves by muscular activity.
Plant Base Food : Eat foods that has life in it veg & grain (raw & cooked), fruits, sprouts, seeds, nuts. Why do we say life, which means when we soak it sprouts, when we plant it grows
Avoid foods that don't have life in it like packed, bottle food. non-veg like meat, fish, egg, milk (instead take coconut milk) and their products
Unrefined food: Eat food that are wholesome unrefined from nature, like unpolished, brown rice, different types of millets, rock/ pink salt, Atta with bran, dates, jiggery instead of refine sugar
Avoid food such as white rice, maida, sugar, suji, oil (instead use graded coconut / nuts).
Treatment for Toxic Overload
Nutrition: Many of these organic plant-based foods support the liver, kidneys, and digestive tract so that we can detoxify the body.
