Kidney stones and Gall stones
Kidneys are a pair of organs shaped like kidney beans. The most important job of the kidneys is to filter liquid waste from the blood and get rid of it in the form of urine.
Each kidney weighs about 160 grams and gets rid of between one and one-and-a-half litres of urine per day. The two kidneys together filter 200 litres of fluid every 24 hours.
The kidneys: filters that take the waste out of the blood and make pee. the ureters: tubes that carry the urine from each kidney to the bladder. the bladder: a sac that collects the pee. the urethra: a tube that carries the pee from the bladder out of the body
Your kidneys remove wastes and extra fluid from your body. Your kidneys also remove acid that is produced by the cells of your body and maintain a healthy balance of water, salts, and minerals—such as sodium, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium—in your blood.
A kidney stone forms when too much of certain minerals in your body accumulate in your urine. When you aren’t well hydrated, your urine becomes more concentrated with higher levels of certain minerals. When mineral levels are higher, it’s more likely that a kidney stone will form.
Kidney stones are formed by a buildup of different minerals in your body. Minerals like calcium, oxalate, uric acid and phosphorus can become concentrated and form stones that can range in size. Kidney stones can be as small as a grain of sand or as big as a pearl.
“About 70 to 75 percent of the stones are made up of calcium,

GALL STONES
The gallbladder is a pear-shaped, hollow structure located under- surface of the liver and on the right side of the abdomen (right hypochondriac). Its primary function is to store and concentrate bile, a yellow-brown digestive enzyme produced by the liver, it for later use. Bile helps break down the food you eat. Bile's most important role is breaking down fats.
The gallbladder stores bile produced by the liver. After meals, the gallbladder is empty and flat, like a deflated balloon. Before a meal, the gallbladder may be full of bile and about the size of a small pear
Gallstones also known as cholelithiasis, can be formed when bile contains too much cholesterol or too much bilirubin
Normally, your bile contains enough chemicals to dissolve the cholesterol excreted by your liver. But if your liver excretes more cholesterol than your bile can dissolve, the excess cholesterol may form into crystals and eventually into stones
Your gallbladder needs to empty its bile to be healthy and to function properly. If it fails to empty its bile content, the bile becomes overly concentrated, which causes stones to form.
Gallstones cause pain in the mid-upper abdomen that may radiate to the back or under the right shoulder. Many people develop gallstones and never know it. But when a calculus obstructs the bile duct, it can cause symptoms such as sudden onset of intense pain especially in the right side of the abdomen, backache, nausea or vomiting, bloating, indigestion, chills and stools of clay color. The pain caused by gallstones can last from minutes to hours.
3. LEMON: It stops the production of cholesterol, which contributes to a faster recovery. Pectin in lemon juice is supposed to help get rid of gallbladder pain attributed to stones.
