THINGS WE SHOULD AVOID TO DO AFTER MEALS:
1. Sleep / lying down: Lying down right after eating can encourage food to move back up and out of your stomach into your esophagus, many digestive juices travel in opposite direction and as a result entire digestion process is affected badly, could lead to discomfort, bloating, heart burn, indigestion instead try to engage in different activities do not immediately sleep, wait for at least 30 minutes
2. Walking: walk right after meals can result in acid reflux and indigestion, do it after 30 minutes
3. Drinking water, tea, coffee: Our saliva helps in digestion and also kills bad bacteria in the food. Consuming water immediately after a meal prohibits this process, also any fluid intake will dilute the digestive juice for digestion which in turn takes longer time for digestion, the result is acidity and bloating.
