Our Creator gave water on His creation in which our earth surface consist of 75% of water same like wise our body also consist of 70-75% of water, that indicates water is very vital for our body and the earth.

In health and in sickness pure water is one of Heaven's choicest blessings. Its proper use promotes health. It is the beverage which God provided to quench the thirst of animals and man. Drunk freely, it helps to supply the necessities of the system and assists nature to resist disease. The external application of water is one of the easiest and most satisfactory ways of regulating the circulation of the blood.
Water can be also dangerous if we don't know when to use it for example when we take water with meals that blocks the secretion of salivary juice and also it dissolve gastric juice making it neutral which is secreted for digestion in the stomach making the food fermented leading to indigestion, acidity, bloatedness, fullness further more leading to gastric/peptic ulcer. Avoid very hot or ice water for drinking giving more work for the stomach because they have to bring them down to stomach temperature.
How much water we need to stay hydrated and why? we need more water when the climate is hot, sunny day and also depending upon the weight. we need 2- 3 litres of water daily and should be taken only 1/2 an hr before and 2-3 hrs after your meals. In this modern age pure water is replaced by soft drink, alcohol, beer, fruit juice which is not good for health instead gives our body a bad effects.

We will be active, skin will not be wrinkle instead looks young and fresh, output urine will be clear as water despite of yellow colour, retention, burning sensation while passing urine. Lets take an example a grown up pot plant when you don't pour water for weeks it withered and die, how much more our body will be in need of water.
