What role pH plays in the body?
What is PH?
PH (potential hydrogen) is the measurement of acidity or alkalinity solution on a body on which 7 is neutral, lower values are more acid and higher values more alkaline.
A normal blood pH level is 7.40 on a scale of 0 to 14, where 0 is the most acidic and 14 is the most basic.
The human body is built to naturally maintain a healthy balance of acidity and alkalinity. Every organ and body fluid has each different pH reading. Stomach is the most acidic measuring 1-3, intestine is 6, our body cell is 6.5, soil is 6.4 some what similar to our cell and the cancer cells thrive when the pH of the cell reaches 5.5. Blood is normally slightly basic, with a normal pH range of about 7.35 to 7.45. Usually the body maintains the pH of blood close to 7.40.Ph on the blood cannot be change but the cellular level can be change by our life style and eating habits.
Why pH balance is important in the body?
The importance of pH balance. ... It is important for us to assist our body in creating and maintaining healthy pH because most diseases, illnesses, and bad bacteria thrive in an over acidic environment. When pH levels are unbalanced, it is mostly in the case of being too acidic. The lungs and kidneys play a key role in this process.
How the lungs and kidneys maintains the pH balance?
Exercise: In response to exercise, the body increases its breathing rate which helps to counteract the pH lowering effects of exercise by removing CO2, Acidosis that results from failure of the lungs to eliminate CO2. No exercise makes our body more acidic
Water: Water is neither acid nor alkaline its neutral, dehydration cause the body environment acidic. The more water we take it alkalise the body.
Sunlight:to much or to less will cause acid condition
Temperance: refine products, smoking, alcohol, drugs, fast foods, non veg,
Air: Bad and impure pollutant air, moldy surrounding,
Rest:too much rest or not enough sleep
Trust in God:stress, anxious,worriness, tension
DISEASE CAUSED BY HIGH ACIDITY (ACIDOSIS)

The lungs control your body’s pH balance by releasing carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is a slightly acidic compound. It’s also a waste product produced by cells in the body as they use oxygen. The cells release it into your blood, and it’s taken to your lungs.
When you exhale, you’re expelling that carbon dioxide, a process that also helps regulate your body’s pH balance by reducing acidity.
The amount of carbon dioxide you exhale is a function of how deeply you inhale or exhale. Your brain constantly monitors this in order to maintain the proper pH balance in your body.
The kidneys help the lungs maintain acid-base balance by excreting acids or bases into the blood. The kidneys’ effect on acidity works much more slowly than that of the lungs.
Disregarding of Health Laws can bring your pH more acidic.
Nutrition: when take lots of fast foods, deep fried items, non-veg, soft drinks, refine products like sugar, moida etc.Exercise: In response to exercise, the body increases its breathing rate which helps to counteract the pH lowering effects of exercise by removing CO2, Acidosis that results from failure of the lungs to eliminate CO2. DISEASE CAUSED BY HIGH ACIDITY (ACIDOSIS)
LUNGS:
* Creates excess mucus in the body, manifesting as coughing, breathing trouble, chest pain, fatigue, sinus issues, shortness of breath,
BONES:
* Strips our bones of crucial minerals like calcium to help buffer acidic overload in body- results in brittle bones and osteoporosis, arthritis, cavities and sensitive gums, joint pain/ aching muscles
BRAIN:
Neurological conditions like Alzheimer's, dementia, parkinson's and reduce mental clarity, headache, sleepiness, confusion, loss of consciousness, sciatica and stiff neck, chronic fatigue,
HEART:
Acidic plaques causing heart attacks, strokes, and cardiovascular diseases, arrhythmia, increase heart rate,
LIVER/KIDNEY:
Susceptible to acidic damage causes inflammation, ulcers, stones and cancer, bladder and kidney infections
STOMACH:

STOMACH:
Excess gas, nausea, indigestion, acid reflux, bloating, bad breath, belching, vomiting, diarrhoea
INTESTINAL SYSTEM:
Indigestion, reduced nutrient absorption ( vitamin/mineral deficiency) bloating, candida and yeast infection, immune deficiency,
SKIN;
Chronic acidosis results in eczema, allergies, acne, rashes, all dermatitis types
MUSCULAR SYSTEM:
Seizures, weakness
OTHERS:
weight gain/obesity, diabetes, allergies, blocked lymph nodes, auto Immune disease, premature aging
ACID--ALKALINE FORMING FOODS;
About 80% of our food should consist of good alkaline forming foods, remaining 20% should be good acids food.
Bad Acids forming foods are, include most high-protein foods like fish, meat, organ meats, poultry, egg, shellfish, tea, coffee, soft drinks. sodas and other sweetened beverages., vinegar, tobacco, alcohol, cocoa, drugs, sugars, dairy products, processed foods.
Bad low level acid forming foods--- butter, cheese,
Good acid forming foods--- beans, chick peas, corn starch, oatmeals, brussel sprouts. flour, lentils, legumes, olives, plums,
Good low level acid forming foods---nuts and seeds, parsley, canned fruits, dried coconut, dried fruits, grains
Good alkaline forming foods--- citrus fruits like lime (becomes alkaline in body),avocado, fresh coconut, dates, raisin, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, greeny leafy vegetables, spinach, broccoli, kale, Root Vegetables, Onion, Garlic and Ginger, soya products, sprouts, mushrooms, water cress, corn, honey, Seaweed and Sea Salt, pumpkin seeds,
Good low alkaline forming foods--- almonds, brazil nuts, lima beans, millets,

NOTE:
Urine pH is an important factor in the production of kidney stones. Uric acid, cystine, and calcium oxalate stones tend to form in acidic urine, whereas struvite (magnesium ammonium phosphate) and calcium phosphate stones form in alkaline urine.tissues and organs become ACIDIC and rob calcium from bones to neutralize acidity, bones are shortage of calcium makes weak/ brittle bones, calcium deposits develop in different parts of body causing kidney stone, gall bladder stone, arthritis
