THE DIVINE PATTERN IN MISSIONARY WORK

THE DIVINE PATTERN IN MISSIONARY WORK:

THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS

1. – The Word of God was the basis of everything, He did and said

2 – He placed the commandments of God above the commandments of men

3-– He combined medical, welfare, evangelical, and educational work

4 – Jesus’ credentials were the type of work that He did—medical missionary work

5 – He worked for rich and  for the children  but especially for the poor and needy and those who considered themselves to be so:

6.– He was very economical

7 – He was poor—He had little money, few possessions, and no permanent home:

8 – He sought no display or publicity:

9 – He was cautious

10 – He realized that He might meet possible persecution and maybe even death
