CANCER PATIENT LEMON WRAP

  CANCER PATIENT  LEMON WRAP  (to be done after liver & kidney wrap)

Items required:

1. 7 liters of warm water

2. 6 cups of baking soda add in No. 1

3. 5 bath towels & 1 hand towel

4. Plastic sheet length of person & wide enough to wrap around client.

5. 1 cup (8 oz.) of fresh lemon juice & add in No. 1

6. 1 liter of water with 1fresh lemon juice

7. 1 Blanket

Procedure:

Put the plastic sheet on the bed. Stir the bucket & immediately dip first towel & wring out for excess water and lay the towel down across the width of bed, and make the naked client lie on the towel and wrap around their torso.

Dip the 2nd towel, wring and wrap it on right leg next 3rd towel to the left leg. 

4th towel to the right shoulder & arm, hand and 5th towel on the other left side. All the towel should dip in the bucket solution & wring.

Last dip the hand towel, wring out and wrap around the neck.

Wrap plastic over the client, then cover with the blanket.

Give the lemon water to drink during next 1 hour.

Note:

 Do liver - kidney wrap and  soaking feet in hot water on client right before doing lemon wrap.

Have them get up and urinate after liver kidney wrap.

It helps to pre-warm client by soaking feet in hot water, do it before the lemon wrap these stimulates lymphatic flow (esp. Hot & cold foot bath)
