Other sources to include are:
1. Iodine: Iodine is an element that is needed for the production of thyroid hormone. The body does not make iodine, so it is an essential part of your diet. Iodine is found in various foods. If you do not have enough iodine in your body, you cannot make enough thyroid hormone.
Seaweed (including kelp, dulce, nori, Sea Moss) Sea Moss: It contains 92 of the 102 minerals present in the human body, is rich in vitamins (A, B, C, E), proteins, minerals, trace elements and taurine for vegetarians. Naturally good source of iodine, a micronutrient necessary for thyroid health. (seaweed is the best source of iodine available. A 10 gram serving of dried nori seaweed contains up to 232 mcg of iodine, more than 1.5 times the daily required minimum),
3.Corn: It is an energy restorer, a thyroid regulator.
4. Avocado fruit
5. Snake gourd: Regulates Thyroid, Snake gourd is profuse in iodine content, which is vital to reduce elevated thyroid hormone levels, as well as zinc, which plays a central role in facilitating enzyme function for optimizing thyroid concentrations.
6. Pine apple: Thyroid regulation, Pineapples contain iodine and bromelain which are effective in improving various autoimmune disorders; thus, effective in relieving symptoms associated with thyroiditis.
7. Ginger: stimulate thyroid secretion
8. Leek: Promote thyroid health
9. Coconut: it stimulate the secretion of hormone in the thyroid glands, Tender coconut water helps cure the drop in thyroid levels. It will help stabilize the working of thyroid glands and provide patients a balance.
10. Guggul: Guggul may regulate thyroid hormone and may potentially reduce hypothyroidism. People who have hypothyroidism may have issue with their height because of the imbalance of hormones in the body, which Guggul may correct.
11. Pumpkin: pumpkin and pumpkin seeds can greatly help improve thyroid function in the body.
12. Wheat Grass:
The abundance of the mineral selenium in wheatgrass improves the functioning of the thyroid gland. Adding selenium to the daily regimen is a great way to improve thyroid function, which aids in maintaining weight.
(Don't take wheatgrass if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. Allergic reactions are possible in some people, especially people who are allergic to wheat or grass.)
13. Sesame: Sesame seeds are good sources of nutrients — such as selenium, iron, copper, zinc, and vitamin B6 — that support thyroid health. Your thyroid gland contains the highest concentration of selenium of any organ in your body. This mineral plays a vital role in making thyroid hormones 14. Carrot juice improves thyroid function slightly
15. Radishes have been used in Russia, to treat both types of thyroid problems. Raphanin chemical in radishes keep thyroxin level in balance
16. Remain on salt free, oil free, sugar free diet until the thyroid is under control. but on the long term you need a little salt and oil.
17. Exercise for it stimulates TSH production by the pituitary. T3 increases slowly in the blood during and after vigorous exercise
Note: (Different studies confirmed that increased exposure to heat during cooking reduces iodine content in foods and salts)
Things to be taken under consideration:
Diets : A thyroid deficiency can result from eating free fats (butter, margarine & mayonnaise (all are used in bread & bun spread) Fried foods, cooking fats, salad oils and commercial peanut butter,
Soy foods: tofu, tempeh (fermented soybeans), edamame (immature soybeans),
Certain vegetables: cabbage, broccoli, kale, Brussels sprouts, bok cho, turnips, cauliflower, spinach, yam, brinjal etc.
Fruits and starchy plants: banana, sweet potatoes, cassava (tapioca), peaches, strawberries, etc.
Nuts and seeds: millet, pine nuts, peanuts, etc. (but Brazil nuts, macadamia nuts, and hazelnuts are excellent sources of selenium, Walnuts can interfere with thyroid hormone absorption, so avoid eating them at the same time you take your medication.
Others: chlorinated water, fluoridated water, and toothpaste, an excess of them will block entrance of Iodine into the thyroid.
Note: Cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and brussels sprouts. hyper can take them as raw where else hypo can take in the cooked form
Exercise: It is essential for your thyroid, When we're sitting in one place throughout the day without moving then activity of our thyroid gland starts slowing down and the thyroid starts rotting, When you exercise your thyroid gland gets movement and it gets squeezed, it gets its own exercise and slowly it starts generating hormones normally. Do for 1 hour, sweat should come out.
For thyroid problems - both hypo and hyper - a treatment that literally worked in 4 months for a friend bringing down 7 to 3.6 - absolutely normal and continues to stay there...
1) 5-6 drops of Cold pressed walnut oil used to massage the thyroid gland every night for 2-3 minutes

UNDER ACTIVE THYROID
Last week my mother (Manipur) had a symptoms of under active thyroid like mood swings, discouragement, profound sudden lethargy, no appetite, strong nausea, constipation, hardly speaks because of weaknesses, etc.
It was amazing praise to our Mighty God for His healing hand.
Daddy helped her applying iodine solution over her forearm to test whether iodine is low, it was so low that within 5 minutes it was dried up. So we were sure she is having under active thyroid. Next step was put cayenne pepper compression an hour over her thyroid area.
After few hours all her symptoms was gone especially severe nausea, she regain her appetite and started eating. Glory and Honor to our Merciful Father.
