 GOD IS AUTHOR OF PHYSICAL LAWS/ NATURES LAW:

WHAT IS NATURES LAW?

Natures laws are given by our creator which is was given during His creation for the human race, that we may live with health and happiness. “law of nature” in a religious-scientific way, meaning by it the laws that regulate the operations of the natural world under the guidance of God.

God is the creator of the laws of nature: “In infinite wisdom, the world which God had newly formed was placed under fixed laws. Laws were ordained, not only for the government of living beings, but for the operations of nature too.

Since they are an expression of love, they aim at the well-being of humanity. They were designed “for our good.

“Laws of nature” to refer to the laws that God implanted in our being in order for it to function properly. We need to study that marvelous organism, the human system, and the laws by which it is governed.” These laws are “the manifestation of God’s love and wisdom in the works of nature. 

Humans have a natural drive to eat, drink, sleep and procreate.  These actions are in accord with a natural law for species to survive and procreate.  Thus activities in conformity with such a law are morally good.  Activities that work against that law are morally wrong.  As an example consider that to eat too much or too little and place life in jeopardy is morally wrong.

" The transgression of physical law is the transgression of God's law. Our creator is Jesus Christ. He is the author of our being. He has created the human structure. He is the Author of the Physical laws, as He is the author of the moral law, And the human being who is careless and reckless of the habits and practices that concern his physical life and health, sins against God."- Letter, May 19, 1897

Sin and sickness come from the transgression of God's Laws. In order to gain physical health we must obey God's eight health laws. In order to gain spiritual health we must obey God's ten moral laws. MMM 411

" A failure to care for the living machinery is an insult to the Creator; There are divinely appointed rules which if observed will keep human beings from disease and premature death."- Counsels on Diet and Foods, 16

" God is as truly the author of physical laws as He is author of the moral law, His law is written with His own finger upon every nerve, every muscle, every faculty, which has been entrusted to man.

He who hungers and thirsts after God will seek understanding of the laws. God's law is written by his own finger upon every nerve, every muscle, every faculty which has been entrusted to man. (Unpublished testimonies August 30, 1896)

" God's physical law is written with His own finger upon every nerve, muscle, and faculty, ignorance of physiology has brought many to the grave. Children should understand physiology. Our education should include as full a knowledge of physiology  as possible. Study of physiology should inspire the students with reverence of God. MMM 256

It is our duty to study the laws that govern our being and conform to them. Ignorance of physiology and neglect to observe the laws of health have brought many to the grave who might have lived to labor and study intelligently. (Testimonies on education p. 98)

"The Creator of man has arranged the living machinery of our bodies. Every function is wonderfully and wisely made. And God pledged Himself to keep this human machinery in healthful action if the human agent will obey His laws and cooperate with God. Every law governing the human machinery is to be considered just as truly divine in origin, in character, and in importance as the Word of God. Every careless, inattentive action, any abuse put upon the Lord's wonderful mechanism, by disregarding His specified laws in human habitation, is a violation of God's law. We may behold and admire the work of God in the natural world, but the human habitations is the most wonderful.

"It is as truly a sin to violate the laws of our being as it is to break the ten commandments. To do either is to break God's law. Those who transgress the law of God in their physical organism will be inclined to violate the law of God spoken from Sinai." Counsels on Diet and Foods,16-17

The transgression of physical law is transgression of Gods law. Injury done to body is violation of physical law. (unpublished testimonies may 19, 1897)

 God is greatly dishonored by way man treats his organism

For every transgression there is a fixed penalty. Which sooner or later must be realized. ( healthful living p 20.)

The moral powers are weaken for men and women will not live in obedience to the laws of health (3 Testimonies p 140)

Sickness, diseases of every kind, ruined constitution, premature decay, untimely deaths, theses are the result of violation of naturals law. (Unpublished testimonies Aug 30 1896)

Sickness is caused by violating the laws of health, it is the result of violating natures law. (3 testimonies 164)

Everything that conflicts with natural law creates a disease condition of the soul.(Review and Herald 1881)

Whenever we get sick we should bring physical laws as a mirror to see which part is violated, and rectify it with the help of health laws. So also is with our spiritual life when we do something wrong, moral law should be our mirror to reflect us where went wrong and direct us in right path way.

As EGW says

As the foundation principle of all education in these lines, the youth should be taught that the laws of nature are the laws of God—as truly divine as are the precepts of the Decalogue. - CG 363.1

Knowledge of Nature’s Laws Is Necessary—There are matters not usually included in the study of physiology that should be considered—matters of far greater value to the student than are many of the technicalities commonly taught under this head. As the foundation principle of all education in these lines, the youth should be taught that the laws of nature are the laws of God—as truly divine as are the precepts of the Decalogue. The laws that govern our physical organism, God has written upon every nerve, muscle, and fiber of the body. Every careless and willful violation of these laws is a sin against our Creator. How necessary, then, that a thorough knowledge of these laws should be imparted!12 CG 363.1

The material world is under God’s control. The laws of nature are obeyed by nature. Everything speaks and acts the will of the Creator. *Cloud and sunshine, dew and rain, wind and storm, all are under the supervision of God, and yield implicit obedience to His command. It is in obedience to the law of God that the spire of grain bursts through the ground, “first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.” Mark 4:28. These the Lord develops in their proper season because they do not resist His working. And can it be that man, made in the image of God, endowed with reason and speech, shall alone be unappreciative of His gifts and disobedient to His will? Shall rational beings alone cause confusion in our world? - COL 81.3

Every creations (living, non living) God has put laws to work out harmoniously, for example human-nature/physical laws, even for animals, heavenly body, water bodies, plants & tree, etc.
